On a practical side, we ensure that all the necessary liaisons and deadlines are met and all the paperwork is completed and handed in at the right place at the right time. This may include the completion of Cremation and Doctors forms which will be handed in to the relevant authorities along with other legal documents. All documentation and discussion about the funeral will be retained for future reference by the family and ourselves. All information is kept in absolute confidence.

The Funeral Arrangements themselves can be made at anytime just by contacting us. We can call and see you or you may visit our Funeral Home. In selecting ourselves as your Funeral Director, we will ensure that each and every detail is discussed with you thoroughly to ensure your wishes and those of the deceased are correctly carried out.

As soon as you have completed arrangements, whether in the comfort of your own home or at our office, you should have an estimated cost of the funeral together with the dates and timings to suit your requirements. This will show the Funeral Director.s charges and details of the fees paid on behalf of the family. All of this information will be issued in writing, usually within 24 hours of the arrangements. This should give you time to check through for any changes you would like to make. A complete price list is available for you to take away and study in more leisure without any obligation.

Chapel Of Rest Our dedicated Chapel of Rest is at 94 Sea Street, Herne Bay. It is laid out in a calm and sympathetic way and is available to anyone who wishes to visit their loved one whilst they are in our care. The chapel has been dedicated by local clergy and has discrete trappings but remains neutral to any faith. It has been thoughtfully decorated with calm and tranquillity as our primary aim. The charge for chapel preparation not only covers the skill and dedication of our hygienist but also means that the chapel is at your disposal. Visits to the Chapel of Rest between 9am and 7pm weekdays are included in the chapel preparation fee. Arrangements can of course be made to visit at anytime subject to sensible conditions

We stock a variety of ashes caskets and urns of different shapes, colours and designs for sale at our premises which are made by reputable companies. We also could provide advice and guidance as to maintenance and storage of ashes.

Headstones and Stonemasonry

We are also able to advise you with regards to headstones for your loved one's grave. Sourced from local stonemasons who guarantee fine craftsmanship and of excellent quality, we are able to offer a wide choice of designs and materials.
